Under "Clips" in Import Properties, there is a plus button (Add Take). Use it and see if the list that appears has animations you need.
And personally, I prefer *.FBX export over using *.blend files in Unity. It lets you specify export options, and results in smaller file size, since many of *.blend features are unusable in game engines.
