I just installed some updates for VisualStudio (7.6.3(build 1)) and now Unity won't function.
There is an error in the console:

error CS0006: Metadata file `/Applications/Visual Studio.app/Contents/Resources/lib/monodevelop/AddIns/MonoDevelop.Unity/Editor/SyntaxTree.VisualStudio.Unity.Bridge.dll' could not be found

    Compilation failed: 1 error(s), 0 warnings

    What should I do?

Here is a solution from the Visual Studio dev community:
    https://developercommunity.visualst...dio-for-mac-tools-for-unity-debugging-br.html

Nevermind, that didn't help either. The folder structure contains a app inside an app... totally bombed the installation on upgrade. Leave it to Microsoft to bomb things on a Mac. Had to go set a different app (Unity -> Prefs -> External Tools) and remove the crap software and reinstall it.

Someone write a Unity C# linter for Sublime Text please?

I've hit this exact error before after updating Visual Studio for Mac, and launching while Unity was still running. The error disappeared after restarting Unity.
