I have an idea but don't know where to look or how to search

Hello All and thank you for your time reading this.

I would like to know if its possible to do the following with the unity engine

i would like to create an app for the phone
that would check if the phone is connected to a specific wifi
and if yes only then would it alow to user to continue using its features.

is this possible?
and if yes, could points me to the direction of where to find information regarding the subject.
