I feel intimidated by scripting

    I want to create games for mobile platforms, but I am really intimidated by the idea of scripting and I don't even know where to begin. I have genius ideas but they mean nothing in that state, and I'm saying this hoping someone relates to my frustration and helps me out.

    I want to be able to know the limits of unity, to know the ins and outs of scripting, so that I can put any idea that I have into practice.

    I can't relate, as I'm pretty comfortable with C# coding. Taught myself BASIC a million years ago when there was 1/100000th the amount of resources available.

    Have you tried typing "beginning c# book" into Amazon? If video tutorials are more your style, perhaps something on Pluralsight.com would work.
