Hey guys, I got the subscription for pro this morning, I didn't get any addons or anything,
but how am I still able to build Android, IOS, etc?

I can do it in 4.6.1 and 5.0 Beta 21.

I don't want to get in any trouble and yeah I could just keep my mouth shut about it.
But I've updated Unity Trial to my new Serial Key, and it still says in the About Unity part I have all the exporters,
I can switch to Android, etc without a problem.

I don't want to get in trouble, so what can I do? Or is it supposed to be available some how?

You can still make non-Pro builds for those platforms. Paying for Pro for one platform doesn't strip you of access to the other platforms you have free access to. You just still won't have Pro features on those platforms.

My understanding is that when you are under those targets (android/ios) it will build fine it just will be unity android free or unity ios free. When your building for standalone, wp8, etc. is when it will be using pro feature set but not for the other targets (if I understood you correctly that you bought unity pro but not unity pro android/unity pro ios). Since the editor is still dark theme and other indicators it might be hard to tell. However, if you try and use a pro feature (profiler on device, render texture, etc.) I don't think it will be there which will confirm you are using just android free/ios free.

To be clear the about page says pro for those platforms too? That certainly hasn't been my experience.

Just encase I just took a photo of both parts (It's the same for 4.6.1 and 5). I just so happen to be on 5 lol.

But I guess I'll experiment with it

That looks fine. Notice how Android and iPhone doesn't say "Pro" next to them like other platforms do :).

Oh awesome, so I can still export the free version of droid, etc?
I've been asking this question for so long, nobody could give me a clear answer, most of the time I was told, you HAVE to get An pro and IOS Pro just to export period lol.

So i can export free versions of them?

Yes. For a while now android, iOS, and other mobile platforms have free versions to build, and sell products from. To use the fancy stuff on a specific platform you need that pro license.

Yes, that's what it does when you press build and it detects you don't have a pro license for the target platfrom.

Note that with U5 beta all exports are pro versions and trial version if you don't own it unless it has changed in the latest betas
