I'm downloading Unity 2020.2.0a9 Alpha and I started downloading it only because the previous 2019 version wouldn't work. What do I do?

Can you explain what you mean when you say it didn't work?

Well you can try to restart Unity Hub using task manager. But maybe its your just computer being slow.

If its saying its queued it means other unity Client is installing or uninstalling. if thats not happening then you may want to reset the hub.

Upgrade either your computer or your Internet connection, probably both, but that ain't gonna be cheap.
