I can't import 4K textures?

Exporting 4K textures from Substance Designer into Unity, and for some reason it only imports as 2K. Any idea why this is? Cant seem to find any answer through searching.

 

Import settings for textures default to a max size of 2048 x 2048. You just need to change the max size to 4096 for the textures that need it.

Interesting. So I need to manually change this for every texture I import? There isnt a project setting that allows textures to automatically be the size they're imported at? Seems like an unnecessary extra step I have to do for all the textures Im importing.

 

you can create a preset of the texture importer that set the size to 4k and set that as the defaullt preset.

another would be a asset post processing script but the preset should work.
