Really interesting! Three of these effects are very suitable for my game. Only one question/request, I need the orange color too, it's easy to add for my self or can you add it for the next version? It is important for me and I will buy it immediatly if I can add this color too ;)

Thanks in advance and congratulations for your work!

Hey, it should be as easy as recoloring the glow in the particle system. Most of the effects use a single white glow texture, which is then colored with the particle systems "Start Color" or "Color over Lifetime". Should only take a few minutes to do it yourself!

The only pre-colored textures are the powerup boxes, the projectile trails and the lightning.I suppose they can be edited in Photoshop or GIMP, or you can just overlay a orange color on top of them in Unity to make it less yellow.

Feel free to e-mail if you have any questions, or if you need the source image files for anything.

Hey Archanor, I'm using Hyperbit Arsenal in my game, but in Unity 5.6 the effects of many of the prefabs seem to become of infinite length and flash in pure white.

    Have you seen this behavior?

Hey, I haven't had the chance to try 5.6 yet, and have not seen anything like that before. You may want to submit a bug report via the Unity Bug Reporter and see if it's fixed by the time 5.6 is out of beta.

Done. I'm going to have to make new effects in the meantime though, which is a bit of a bummer. I really like yours!

Well I definitely want you to be able to use them. Did you try the effects before on 5.4 or 5.5? Perhaps re-downloading it could help. Also, do you have a link to the bug report you sent in?

Here's the link to the bug.

The assets did work in our project in 5.4, and I believe 5.5. I haven't tried re-downloading it yet because the asset was purchased another guy on our team and I don't have his Unity account password, and he's out today.

@sandworm The only thing I can think of that may cause the problem is that the Scaling Mode of the effects are set to Hierarchy, and the particle effects are parented to an object that's got some weird scaling. Or maybe there's some new feature in 5.6 that has something to do with how meshes are scaled or emitted.

Got an email back from Unity, they said they found the bug and are going to fix it in the next version.

Hi, we already purchased this asset and we will implement those effects to our early access game Orbiz. Is it possible to make laser gun effect like this image below ? Thank you

@anomanstudio Hey, cool game you have in progress! At the moment there are no beam effects like that, but I suppose you're thinking of a instant beam like you may have seen in Sci-Fi Arsenal?

The Charge effect might fit the start of the beam, but otherwise you'd have to wait a bit for me to update it.

Edit: Please send me an e-mail :)

Hi archanor. I'm a bit new to unity and it seems I'm not using correctly the prefab for the beams since i can't get the laser effects like in your video. And I presume that the HyperBitBeam script is to create the continous laser beam effect, correct?

@Francesco_Di_Ruscio Hey, sorry for the late reply. I'm away from my pc/work until next week. The script you mention is the one used in the demo, for now I recommend checking the demo scene to see how it's set up.

I hope to include another script sometime which is more suitable for use outside the demo, as I think you may have to set up some UI elements to avoid errors.

The main focus of the asset was to supply particle fx, but I can see the use of including some extra scripts.

Hi Archanor, Im loving these effects.

    Im using Unity 2017.2.0f3

The Beam in demo scene 7 is very dim and the end of beam light effect doesn't seem to be working correctly.
Also I'am also getting "Assertion failed: Invalid AABB aabb" and related errors in demo scene 1

    Best regards Ed.

@EDSOLO Hey, I can see if I can have a look at the scene tomorrow. Feel free to e-mail me with a screenshot and more details. If the beam is dark, you can try boosting the brightness of the material. If the real-time light is not displaying correctly, you may need to increase the Pixel Light Count in the Quality settings of the Project Settings.

Also, the AABB errors is a known bug. They are annoying, but should be harmless.

    Hi Archanor
I loaded Hyperbit into a blank project and not not current work. and the beam FX worked great.

so it looks like it something on my project that is causing the beam to dim. over the next few days Im going to rebuild my project and try and find the cause and post back as it my be of help to another developer.

Thanks for getting beck to me so quick and for a fantastic asset.
    Best Regards Ed.

@EDSOLO Your project's Color Space might be running in Linear instead of Gamma, that sometimes makes effects look dimmed down.

If you go to Build Settings -> Player Settings you can check.
