hig.unity.com’s server IP address could not be found.
    Try running Windows Network Diagnostics.

@Ludiq FYI the website is still down. Maybe you have someone at Unity you can contact internally at this point?

FYI: they accepted support request from me before regarding their websites. So I think that would be a more efficient way to raise the problem. Just wrote to the support at unity3d dot com and they answered (and solved the problem).

Anyway, I'm curious about that web-site I cannot visit...

Wow, seems like they pulled it down!

Does Unity not want people following a consistent design language? Haha.

Hello everyone. Our apologies for this, admittedly large, inconvenience! The previous HIG was very limited in info. We are really shifting towards putting much more emphasis on the creation and documentation of a better design language. We are working on a solution now. Please know that we are far more dedicated to this!

We pulled the old version down because it was very often not helpful since the scope was so limited. Based of user comments it did not seem like what we had up was very useful. We thought it would be best to take it down while we work on a better solution.

Was there guidance there that you found valuable? Was it a mistake for us to pull the site down while we work to create a more robust solution? I would love any feedback you have to we can make sure to do what is best for everyone.

I think that pulling down any kind of relevant information leads to misunderstanding:
I weren't able to google any info on HIG till I've looked for the random forums

You were needed to keep it and say on the very first page that you're working on a more robust solution :)

So we're waiting for it, is there any ETA?
