Huge Space Battles!!!

    Hello

    I have been working on the following project that involves space battles with hundreds of units and I would like to share with you the current progress:



    For now it supports the following features:

    2 factions
    4 unit types per faction (capital cruiser, bomber fighter) each one with several adjustable parameters for combat and movement, like speed acceleration, maneuverability, angular velocity hull points, shield points and more
    3 types of weapons (laser, beam, missile)
    shields
    basic Fleet AI
    collision avoidance
    fleet formations
    waypoints
    grouping of units

    I am planning to add at least the following before releasing a demo:

    pooling
    persistence
    engine thrusters
    tweaking the parameters
