    cMonkeys proudly presents:
    Huge (free) FBX Mocap Library

This library is a conversion of the Carnegie-Mellon University mocap library.
It contains 2,534 mocap FBX animations all organized into groups.

This library was first converted to BVH by Bruce Hahn which i then converted into an FBX library for the Unity community.

The original library was free for all uses and since Bruce Hahn puts no extra restrictions on the BVH version I won't put any restrictions on this FBX version either. This means that every animation of this library can be used for any purpose, including commercial games and adding the animations to other assets.

You can look up animations in the included spreadsheet, which was made by Bruce Hahn.

This library is HUGE so we've split it up in 3 parts.

You can get all 3 parts here
    .

On public demand we added a off- Asset store link: https://mega.nz/#F!KZtDwSZK!NgMHgEcKM14DAQ6f2Wj28g

Or get it on Yandex here: https://yadi.sk/d/DOSssVKK3J469c

    disclaimer:
I make no guarantee of any sort for these animations. You will find that a lot of the animations are quite good, some of them might require some cleaning up, and some might not be usable at all.
There are definitely better ready-out-of-the box animation libraries out there, but all of them cost quite some money which not all indie developers can afford. This might be a good alternative to get a lot of animations for free.

We Devs need people like you who give is the extra push instead of waiting for our artists to deliver the animations. With this we can just start our massive prototyping immediately ... this should be provided as a standard asset on unity. its that GOOD!

    Glad you like it :)

To be honest, i doubt it.

I converted the mocap library with blender to fbx.
I didn't looked at the rig because i always use the humanoid rig in Unity which re-targets the animation automatic.

So if you don't have a specific reason to not use it,i recommend using the humanoid rig which makes things a lot easier.

As mgear says, update your version of unity to download it.
Works fine, every month loads of people are getting it just fine.

I can not download anything off of the asset store because for some reason unity can not connect to the internet, it gives me the error You are currently Offline, so can you please upload a project of the mocap data library files online so I can download it. Thanks.

I really need this package but I can not download it because I am using university network and I have to connect to asset store through vpn which made the speed so low. is this package uploaded any where so I can get it by my download manager?
I would be grateful if you could upload it somewhere else

For anyone who haves problems downloading this huge pack from the asset store, Deozaan was so nice to upload it to MEGA now. You can find the link on the asset store page of the mocap library.

Wow! I found this collection on internet in some other formats, but didn't expect that someone would make it directly accessible in unity3d assets store. So good! I'll definitely try it.
    Thank you, Roidz!

thanks man it is a fantastic job to upload it to mega.nz for other people who need the fbx file.

but problem is , it is almost impossible to download it from mega.nz, because it is not faster than 40 kb/s ! and it is not stable, even if i left my computer open 2 days, connection with mega will lost during the period.

would you kindly upload it to some other cloud service ? like google drive or yandex.disk for example or anywhere faster than mega ?

Downloading from the asset store is not a option neither ?
    I'll check if i find a alternative...

EDIT: I'm in the process of uploading the library to Yandesk. I will share here as soon it's uploaded.
