how to use the event option in the import animation set up tap?

hi
just curious about the new event tap at the bottom of the animation setup tap when you are setting up your character

i cant find reference from the unity reference site under here :http://docs.unity3d.com/Documentation/Components/class-AnimationClip.html

can someone point me to a place where i can see how this event tap work? or even better to show me an example here
