If you like to run your game on an ios device you need the have access to the iOS developer Programm ($99/year)
and the iOS license for unity (the basic one is free)

The easiest way is to attach the iPhone to your mac over USB, then do a build-and-run from the Unity editor. Does this not work for you?

So, if you do a Build from Unity, do you get an Xcode project created? If so, can you open that Xcode project in Xcode? If the build from Unity does not work, please let the community know more about the exact problem, with screenshots or editor logs.
