How to Switch Characters????

    Basically I am making This above mentioned game,but i cant seem to figure out how to switch between characters??.

    i am trying to switch between two characters using a key or button while one character is controlled by us the other one stays idle in the game

    Please show the code that does not work. Tell us what you are doing in the code, and why, what you expect to see, and what you see instead. That usually is enough so we can help you.

    put the same scripts in both characters but disable the controls in 1 of them when you want to control the other
