I am extending an analytics solution to include support for Xbox, Playstation & Switch. The problem is that this solution (Game Analytics) uses platform-specific libraries, e.g. .dlls for PC and .jar for Android.

The dlls in question are written in .NET Framework 4.

I would like to ask some guidance on my next move. Should I:
    - Update the dll to .NET 6 so it supports consoles? Would that even work?
    - Port the dll to a compatible format, whichever it may be?
    - Nothing, .NET Framework 4 is already supported on these platforms (I assume it is on Xbox).

Sorry for posting this in the Windows Platform forum, I didn't see any forums for the specific consoles, I hope that's alright.

Getting access to console platform development requires being approved by console platform owners (Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo). Doing that also grants access to console specific forums where such issues can be discussed.

I'm sorry but we cannot discuss console specific development in a public forum.

I understand. I’ve worked a little with consoles before.

Even so, might it be possible to ask what platforms .Net Framework 4 supports? That never seemed to me like a platform specific question.
