    Hello,
I'm developing a game similar to Second Life on Unity3D v5.3.3 Engine. Its multiplayer (obviously).
Using Photon as my multiplayer solution. The game is VoIP capable. Using DF Voice for VoIP.
A room can contain upto 50 members. However, only 1-2 members can speak. This voice data has to reach all the 50 members in the room. Unfortunately, Photon has a limit of 500 msg/sec. Using only text to chat is fine and stays below the 500 limit. However, the problem arises when using voice to chat.
The limit is crossed easily with voice data. Is there any way i can limit the voice data being transmitted so that it stays below the 500 limit?

Personally if Voice is an issue I'd off load the Voice to a different server. Use Photon Cloud for everything Game Related and have a separate voice server that you host else where. Or just simply don't use Voice. Hardly any one actually uses in game Voice. They use their own teamspeak or mumble or similar so they can communicate with their clan/guild.

I need to have in-game voice. Its a requirement.
Are there any services dedicated to Voice that can work along with Photon? Since players are connected to each other via Photon servers, i was wondering if its possible to send voice directly to players, instead of sending it via photon servers.

We just submitted our Photon Voice package to the Asset Store for review.
It is hopefully live in a few days from now.

    See:
    https://www.photonengine.com/en-US/Voice

Supported platforms: Editor, Standalone Mac and Windows, iOS and Android (for the time being).
This package will ignore the message limits, until we have better working numbers for this type of service.
