How to shorten the 2D shadow?

    I'm creating a day/night cycle for my top down game. I'm using the experimental shadow caster and point light but the shadow is always ending at the edge of the point light. Is there any way to make it shorter? I can do this easily in 3D using the default lighting. Is there any way to do this in 2D or do I have to use shadergraph for this?
