Question How to Send Sms Verification Code From Unity

Hi All

In my project i have to send sms (Verification Code) and then user should enter the code.It must verified.

Previously i am using Firebase to send and verify sms. But past one month i am receiving error from firebase

So i am decide to change to other method.

Is there any way i can send sms code from any other source other than firebase.

Did Php can send sms or did unity support amazon pin point or any other method.

can any one can provide good solutions for to send SMS code?????????

 

Unity is not a mobile network operator. You are talking about a user authentication system that would typically offer many authentication methods. How about going to Asset Store and searching "authentication". You'll find options.

 

Authentication is always against a second party like your own server or some kind of backend. So that server / backend would send the sms to the user / client which then has to enter the code which the client would send to that same server / backend to verify that he is in control of a certain mobile number. Sending SMS requires a system to actually have access to a provider that can send SMS and usually sending SMS costs money, especially when you potentially send many of them. So "sending" the SMS does not really happen in Unity but has to be done on your server and I don't think there's a general solution as it most likely depends on your carrier / mobile / SMS provider.
