How to run Unity Apk in background?

I want a way to run overall application in background.As soon as app goes background all c# code stops executing.I tried service but couldn't find a way to start unity main thread and overall Unity code in background.Is there a way out of this or any better alternatives please suggest.

 

Background execution is highly platform dependent and not directly supported in Unity. Enabling it may require some native plugin work, as well as some outward-facing permissions assertions in your build process.
