Question How to rename Hub projects (for Hub only - eg, backups with same name)

So I have projectA/projectA-unity and projectA-BAK/projectA-unity

I import both.

The project name is both projectA when imported. If I rename it within Unity, cascading weirdness ensures (esp if git-tracking both; which I do to compare an old vs new branch with bak).

How can I rename in Hub only, like an alias? Perhaps an ini file to edit, assuming this isn't a feature (I tried to look)?

 

We need this feature badly. It's necessary to manage multiple instances of the same project for different streams/platform targets and there is no reliable way in the Hub to distinguish them.
