For unknown reasons I have two organizations on my account:

There's a button to add another pointless organization, but how do I get rid of this one?

Not possible to remove organization for now, so you have to rename it to "*-delete" or similar. We are discussing solutions for this internally.

    Apologize for the inconvenience.

    Best regards, Rasmus

It's quite easy and conceptually safe to allow to delete "empty" organization that has no projects, no members, mainly that were created by mistake.

Unless the word "recycle" means something more than just renaming them to "recycled" or "not in use".

    Please advice

I have an organization called "_ZZZ Delete DONT USE" since a couple of years and it's always the first one to appear when I create a new project in unity so I need to be really careful.
Sooooo annoying it's still not possible to delete or to archive/hide organizations. Really...

I just decided to check on a whim if this had been handled (as I almost accidentally added a project to a dead organization the other day) and was fairly surprised to see this 3 year old issue still hadn't been dealt with. Why can't we just "hide" organizations behind some kind of delete flag the way I assume project archiving works?

It's should be simple to implement such feature (to delete an empty organization).

    Come on.

If deleting is not possible (see Ben-Stoneman's answer above), what about hiding/deactivating it? So it would be hidden from lists (when creating new project, when browsing Unity ID page, etc.) but it would be sitting in some archive page, waiting to be recycled (in other words, working like "object pool").
