I emailed this question to Connect tech support on Monday, no reply yet, so hoping for some help here:

I posted a Job and got a number of responses, and hired someone…so now I need to remove the Job so I don’t keep getting responses. I assume that’s possible, but I sure can’t figure out how to do it. How?

    thanks
    Dave

    Hey Dave,

Sorry about that, a few of us have been on PTO. All you need to do is Close the task / job. You can do this by going to Recruit > clicking the job gear icon > Close Job.

This should remove the job posting, but you should be able to continue communicating with anyone you matched with on our messenger.

    Thanks!

ah, thanks! (And so *that's* where I can quickly see all my jobs! :)

I'm also unclear on how to respond to people who applied but I didn't hire -- I don't see a way to tell them that the job is closed...

    Hey Gecko,

At the moment, there is no way. Would you prefer a custom message or a default message when the job is closed?

Default would be fine, though nice to have option to customize it.
