I choose Progressive GPU light mapper to bake light. However, without me touching the keyboard or mouse, the light mapper option is always automatically selected back to Progressive CPU when baking. I am not sure what's going on. So, is there a way to select Progressive GPU light mapper? thx

You are probably running out of GPU memory. You need a decent amount of memory in order to bake with GPU. What is the GPU you are using?

    There are two reasons
    1. Your resolution is too high and out of gpu memory
    2. Your graphics card memory is less than 4 GB. Because Unity 2020+ wants at least 4 GB of memory

The console or editor log can give more detailed error information on fall back to CPU lightmapper.
