How to redeem asset store package vouchers

I've just noticed, much to my surprise, that we are now able to give out vouchers for our published Asset Store Packages.
Still cant really understand where people are actually able to redeem these codes. Can anybody give me a hint?

I'll give a voucher for my "Asset Hunter" tool to the guy/girl who can tell me

Any idea how these work? Is there any explanation somewhere that you've found?

Asset Store developers are able to issue 12 voucher codes per package, per year. There is a new tab in the publisher administration panel to do this.

If you have a voucher code, I've explained how to redeem them here.

 

Per package we release to the store we get 12 vouchers per year.
These can be generated from your unity asset store publisher profile.

Copy paste the identifier, give it to whoever.

They can now redeem the voucher when looking at their unity account profile page.

Thats's really cool for when you purchase something on paypal directly from the author before it hits the store!

 

You are specifically not supposed to use vouchers for that, which is why the 12/year cap exists.

The terms state: "Publishers are not allowed to sell vouchers or otherwise charge for them."

It would be stretching the rules quite a bit to do as you say, I guess its mainly meant for promotional giveaways or friends or people who participated in beta

 

Oh yes, this might be a handy trade for a review on a popular website to increase your Asset's exposure.

 

Is there any tut how to use these vauchers? I've created vaucher bet when a client enter them it says "Code not found"

 

I've seen that too, but only when the voucher has already been redeemed, are you sure thats not the case?

 

Didn't notice it written, yet, but each voucher is a single-use voucher, meaning it can be used by one client/AssetStore account. If you need to give vouchers to 2 people, then you need to generate 2 vouchers and give each one a unique voucher.

 

ok, u just need to enter your vaucher code inside unity asset store window.

 

Very simple just login, Click my account , scroll down and you will see redeem voucher heading below put you voucher and get the package

 

I did the same but for me it throws a error that ur voucher is expired... As we purchased on 4th April 2017 and we tried redeeming it on 8th May 2017.. any issues or can i use it in anyother ways to get it...?

 

Finally i got my vouchers this morning at Spain

 

You should contact Unity support to let them know this problem.

 

I've created a voucher for my asset, passed it on for someone to review but the get the following error when they
attempt to redeem it.

"Redeem other failure. Please try again"

I've tried creating a second voucher code, same problem.

Anyone know whats going on?

 

This is odd but I'm unable to generate vouchers anymore, I'm sure I haven't reached my limit per year. I'm clicking on the button and nothing happens!!
