Question How to recognize gestures in XR Hands?

    I'm working with Unity XR Hands with XRIT and I need to recognize custom hand gestures (like thumbs up and thumb down, palm facing up and down, etc.). Is there is a way that I can record and then recognize custom gestures? or any particular guide that how I can fetch the raw data and try to recognize gestures?

    Or if gesture recognization is not available yet is it possible for us to recognize a hand expression?

    Hi @ammars26,
    We are currently working on this feature for the XR Hands package. It is the primary work effort for the next release and should be available soon.

    If you need it immediately and want to detect gestures yourself, you can use this guide to get started reading the data: Accessing XR Hand Data.

    Does the "recognize gestures in XR Hands" feature support Oculus?

    Is it possible to use my google pixel phone as a VR headset with working hand tracking, or do i just need a VR headset

    Has the poster solved it now? Or should he use the Oculus SDK and give up on cross-platform?
