How to make a On click animation

I've looked it up and Everything is oudated. Or just dosen't make sense

 

Follow these steps:

Choose the form or object to which you wish to add animation.
Select the animation you wish to add by going to Animations > Advanced Animation > Add Animation.
Then select Animations > Advanced Animation > Animation Pane from the drop-down menu.
Select the animated shape or other objects in the Animation Pane that you wish to play when you click it.
Click Trigger in the Advanced Animation group, point to On Click, and then select the item.

I face the same problem when I make a logo animation. I try this method.
