Question How to make a Die animation based on values?

    I think it is very simple, but I tried everything and couldn't do it (I am new to unity).

    I read a value from a sensor and everything is fine. If i get a value over 1000 from the Sensor, then my object should play an animation and THEN dissapear. And if the value is under 1000 then it should be visible again, with the idle animation.

    I am using the functions SetActive and so on, and even tried to use the behaviour component on the animator.
    But nothing works exactly.

    How could i do this?
    I appreciate any help!
