I'm curious on how to make a 2D flipper. I can't seem to use hinge joints for this, I also want to attach the "flipper" to the character so that it can propel objects.

Is there any code that gives you a 2D pinball flipper as I'll just attach it to part of my sprite as the "flipper".

I would suggest you the pivot point to position that you would like to rotate an object around. Then animate the sprite. If you will need me to be more extact, just tell me.

Yes I'd like you to be more exact on how to do it.

I'd also like the flipper to add force to the object just like a pinball flipper would. I also looked at threads on stackexchange talking about torque and colliders. Not sure if they can help. I'm also trying to make a charge attack that builds up depending on how long you hold it so when it collides with the object it will go higher than a normal tap.

In sprite editor you can change the pivot point. That way, you can animate the rotation.
