Question how to load an asset bundle in editor to re-edit the game objects?

    want to be able to import asset bundles we previously exported into the unity editor so that we can change settings and objects and then re-export a new bundle.

    how can we do this?

    That's not possible I'm afraid.

    You can try looking for a 3rd party tool to scrape asset bundles and then re-import whatever (if anything) it managed to extract.

    using the online assetbundle example works fine from within the editor...
