Question How to install 1.8.4+ version when the latest version in the package manager is 1.6.6

    Hi there

    My unity version is 2021.3.30f1, so burst 1.8.4+ should be supported but the latest version in the package manager is 1.6.6. How to install the newest one?

    Hi! You want to install it by going to: Window > Package Manager, then clicking on the '+' in the top-left corner of the package manager window, click "Add package by name" and then enter: com.unity.burst in the name field and 1.8.8 in the version field. If there's only one field, you'll have to enter: com.unity.burst@1.8.8

    You can also manually edit the manifest.json file in the project‘s Packages subfolder (not under Assets).
