Question How to import gltf & how to enable unity to find blender (flatpak)?

At first i was trying to import .blend files as i used to on windows; but as i have blender installed as flatpak unity doesn't seem to recognize it.
So i tried exporting my scene as gltf, but unity won't import it (it's only available as 'Default Asset').
My guess is this might be due to it requiring blender as gltf to fbx converter (just as it does for .blend files), even though there's no warning or anything about it.

So my question is, is there a way to make unity detect or use blender installed as flatpak, or do i have to use the outdated distro default version, just so it can be detected properly?
Or, if blender is not actually required to import gltf, how can i enable unity to do so (there doesn't seem to be a special upm package available atleast) ?
