How to Go about making a game like Legend of Mana(graphical style)

Hey there folks! So I have finally found the graphical style I want my game to be like, however, when I try looking online there are no real tutorials for me to look at. So this is why I am here.

I am trying to achieve or replicate the graphical style and movement too(this will be sped up a bit) but yes. If anybody out there can point me on that direction I would be eternally grateful. Thank you in advance.
