Hi, I'm trying to make a planet generation game. The plan is to use generated height maps to generate the terrain. I want to get a cube with 6 separate sides, then turn it into a sphere with 6 separate sides. After I have mapped the cube to the cubesphere, I will apply the height maps to each individual side programmatically.

Basically, I want to generate a spherical terrain.

How do you do this? I know the default Unity terrain editor doesn't allow you to make a spherical terrain, but what are the work arounds? I want to make something like the Planetary Terrain asset.

    Thanks
