How to fork a project?

I have a project I want to use as a starting ground for a new one. Normally I would simply copy it, and keep working on the copy, but with Collaborate this copy will be linked to the original collaborate project.

I tried to set up a brand new Unity project with a new Collaborate ID and simply copy in all the assets I needed from the original project, however that did not go well, and all the scripts I added to objects were reporting some issues in the inspector, like they were missing while in fact they are included.

What is the correct way of copying a collab project and giving it a new collab ID?

I'm looking for the exact same thing. My team and I use collaborate, and we've finshed our alpha, but we want to fork our project and continue to work on the full game, while being able to easily address issues in as separate collaborate build.

@Kabookie I figured out how to do it. Copy the project as normal and open it, go to the project settings and find the services tab. Then unlink the project. You can now associate it with a new project ID. :)
