Ok so I saw something similar to this issue on the forums but could not seem to resolve my own. So here it is, I had been using Blender to create a 3D model to be used in one of my current projects in Unity but when I had tried to import my model into my scene, it didn't display properly and about half of the meshes had been turned back the way that their duplicates had been from me using the ALT+D shortcut rather than the SHIFT+D shortcut. I tried resolving this issue from the solution provided here: http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/blender-item-duplicated-items-are-linked.127012/

After trying this by going in and turning all of the broken pieces into single user copies but to no avail, I was still greeted by my poor, deformed, mech... any help would be appreciated, screenshots are attached below. Mech1Pic.png Mech1BrokenPic.png

Try exporting in fbx format. My armored suit guy appears like a crushed tin can when I export on other formats with Blender. I exported to fbx and it stayed intact. Try FBX
