Try discord. Try to ask directly.
Or post your job offers on relevant dev forums (not Unity).

But besides, don't forget to write, what you have to offer.

Anyone else missing connect already? I never used it, but it was a great spam filter.

    THIS.

Also what is your commitment are you ready to sacrifice 1000+ hours ?(I'm talking about something that at least got some chances of commercial success)
Games are not a kids play.

    Yeah. Same.
In my view seems Unity doesn't care about any of that anyway and what next.
If they did even care at slightly, the relevant forum section would be ready, long time before connect was announced to go offline.

Not necessarily, it really depends on what they want to do. They didnt mention commercial at all, and for a hobbyist game they could certainly make a small game in much less time than that :) In fact a great deal of commercial games are made via game jams initially before being turned into a funded affair.

On that note, I recommend OP start by joining game jams https://itch.io/jams these are the fastest way to meet a team, and you get to try out making a bunch of small games with new people each time :)

    Good luck OP!
