    Hello,

I bought some animation clips from asset store for use with mechanim.

However i need to edit the position of the arms of one of the existing animations.

I tried using the built in animator so i can move the character arms to a new position, but seems that built animator can only edit legacy animations, and legacy animations cant be used with mechanim state machine.

So it seems there is no way to edit the mechanim based animation clip?

Anybody knows how to do it?

    Thanks

Open the hierarchy of the fbx in unity and choose the clip, press "Ctrl-D".

This will create a copy of the File and remove the "read only" option, so it will allow you to edit the curves of the file the way you want.
