I've noticed on a few tutorials other users have helpful descriptions ( shown in the red boxes :D) on the nodes graph inspector. Where as mine is more minimal / without descriptions.

I'm most likely being dumb and probably 1 click away from making them appear, but can't seem to find it. I noticed the Visual Scripting preferences menu has 'Show Variables Help' but nothing for the nodes themselves :(

    THanks in advance

What version of Unity and Visual Scripting are you using? Are the tutorials you're following recent and based on Unity's built-in visual scripting or are they based on Bolt? I checked my version of Unity (2021.2.0b14, VS 1.7.2) and it looks the same as yours. I couldn't find any option to show more information either. If the tutorials you're referencing are made in Bolt, it will likely be different although maybe Unity will eventually get to the point where they show more information about the individual nodes.

It is not you, it's bolt that sadly have not got descriptions on all nodes in the node inspector. It will be better in the future with all the work we are doing on nodes but still a big work in progress.
