Hello. I'm new to unity and just finishing up on my Kart Mod. I manually saved my project last night. Then, today I did a bunch of things I'd like to undo. When I close unity, without saving, and reopen it all the changes I made are saved and there is no way to undo. In windows, the date modified on my main scene save file shows that is was last modified last night. Yet, even when I open it from there the changes I made today are saved and no way to undo. I would like to be able to manually save my project at any time and be able to return to it without any new changes auto-saving. I would like to disable this auto-save feature completely. Is there any way to do this?

If you make modifications to prefabs/scripts/art used in the scene, then your scene will appear different, even though you did not modify the scene itself.

The best solution here moving forward is to use version control software (e.g. GIT, SVN) that will allow you to revert files whenever you want.

Is there any way to revert a modified prefab, etc to its original state, re-download it or something?

    With version control, yes.

    Without version control, no.

Good idea about the version control. I think what I will do in the future before I start messing around with prefabs, etc is import a copy of it to modify, rather than modifying the original.
