Question How to detect more than 4 xbox gamepads?

I have 5 xbox gamepads connected to my PC but it seems the input debug is only seeing 4,

I am pretty sure all gamepads work since we regularly play party games like boomerang fu or bomberman R with up to 8 gamepads connected

i think it has to do with disabling Xinput , as thats how many of the games support more than 4 gamepads

I just cant find how to disable it
