Question How to create a friends list and play with a friend immediately?

    How can I create a friends system and private lobbies in a multiplayer game, where players can easily connect and start a match with their online friends without explicitly sharing a join code?

    Hi Danish,

    We have an upcoming Friends service, currently in Closed Beta, that does what you are asking!

    We are planning to release it more widely early next year with more official communications upcoming.

    Feel free to start a conversation (Danish, and anyone reading this thread) to chat in more detail :)

    That is awesome, but I'm releasing my game Q1 2023 so can you suggest a stopgap solution?

    The Friends service is currently in Closed Beta. If you would like to participate in the Closed Beta please send me a message and I will give you access and share the documentation, sample and SDK package.

    @unity_30279D30261D301B05F2 Can you suggest a solution until the Friends service is ready for production? If not, can you give me an ETA on the service?
