Question How to convert from "Typical" Font Size to TextMeshPro Font Size

    Hi

    My UI designer provide me font size information using the typical font size used in Photoshop or Word for example.

    TextMeshPro don't seem to use the same, is it possible?

    Is there a way to convert from Typical Font Size to TextMeshPro one?

    Is the Font Size value in TMP influence by the sampling point size in the Font Asset Creator?

    The size of the text in Unity is influenced by many things such as Camera size when using the Mesh Renderer in Orthographic mode for instance. Or the Canvas size and potential use of a Canvas Scaler or the scale of parent of a text object.

    Now... Assuming proper scaling of the scene elements (ie. camera, canvas, etc.) the text point size should match those from Photoshop provided you are using the same font file.

    Do you have a specific example to provide?

    What font are you using in Photoshop and point size?

    What are your settings in Unity and on the text object?

    Easiest way to share a project is to submit a bug report via the bug report found in the Unity Help menu.

    Any clue on how to transfer the correct font size from XD or Photoshop to Unity?
