How to clipping mask effect in Unity?

    I made this effect using Photoshop, in Photoshop is called Clipping Mask.
    In Unity i tried Mask, 2d Rect Mask and don't work (or i used wrong).

    Effect example (animated GIF)

    clipping mask is part of an upcoming release to Unity, if you have access to the 2D beta preview it's in there.

    This effect is not currently possible with standard unity but there are a few assets on the asset store that can provide this functionality.
