how to change skeleton to human character in unity3d

Currently my character is a skeleton using bones and joints.

however, how can i change the skeleton to a human character which look something like this:

Take the character mesh and add it as a skin onto the skeleton rig in Maya or blender etc

No. If you're looking for easy, stick to playing games. Making games is a lot of work, most of it is hard.
