Question How to apply armor from different asset to synty character

    I'm not sure if what I'm trying to do is possible.
    I have a bunch of characters from synty store. The hierarchy of exemplary one looks like this:

    So there is only one mesh element and the root for the skeleton.
    I wanted to add custom armor on top of that, for example boots. I have another asset with this structure:


    So it has a separate "root" (PT_Hips) and it's based on a different avatar.
    I tried literally everything to make these boots animate with my base model, but nothing is working. They are displayed in the correct place, but they are not animating at all.

    Do you know how could I make this work?
