Question How to access the private repo as a package?

We are trying to set up an automation build for our project. We already made a config for Android and executed it. Unfortunately, it failed citing the reason that

com.mycompany.myprivaterepo: Error when executing git command. fatal: Unable to persist credentials with the 'wincredman' credential store.

Basically, we have a package in our project that is sourced from one of our private repo. My question is that how can we set this up on the Unity DevOps side? Is there a safe solution without using the username/password method?

I've used the username/password system before but it's not ideal. The best solution is to use an access token, you can configure that to restrict access so it is only able to access the package itself, you can also restrict its access rights to be read-only and to disallow any other repository actions.
