How long does it take to publish / unpublish apps for iOS and Android app stores?

    Hi everybody our team is considering releasing a new project soon and the primary question at the moment seems to be if we published the app or got it approved and needed to " hide" it from the public and then re-reveal it later on how long does such a process take in the iOS and Android app stores ? Both the process of hiding it from public visibility download and the process of re-publishing it for the public user download later on ?

    I'm 99% sure you can find the answers to both of those in the relevant documentation. ;)

    I haven't worked on either of those platforms for some time now. rom memory you have 100% control over when something is "released", separately to the approval process. You can have it auto-release once approved, but you don't have to.

    I think each gave you different levels of granularity on that control, for which you'd definitely need to check the relevant documentation.

    It has bee n a long time since I released an iOS app, but I'm pretty sure you will still be able to set a release date in the future when you submit. Just make sure it is beyond the longest expected time to review (an ever changing target, just search for comments over the last 6 months, plus the same time the previous year).
