Question How is this even possibe?

Hello everyone,
Is it possible that Unity Linux is getting almost or even better than the Windows Version?

I was about to get me a new PC; currently my Specs are : I7-2600K, 32GB RAM and Debian Testing OS.

But, before giving up on my PC, I gave to Unity Linux another try and.. WOW!
I could not believe my own eyes! Unity was blazing fast compared to Windows; at least on my ancient PC.

Below are the result that I got with Unity 2023.1.0a20 ALPHA in creating a new 3D Project.

KDE       30.99 sec

XFCE      40.46 sec

MATE      44.32 sec

WIN       2:06:08 minutes

What surprised me the most was KDE. I always took for granted that was very heavy and slow compared to XFCE.

Anyway, thank you so much for all your hard work in porting this Game Engine to Linux!
