How does the local version authenticate

Question about the local install of the Unity Accelerator, what does it use for authentication?

I have a team of devs, and I'd like to set this up, but know this is a question that will come up when we try to have it installed by the IT group. Basically I would like to limit it to a list of people, ideally through either a user group from the active directory.

    Thanks,
    Jeff

The Accelerator's Collaborate caching does use full Unity ID authentication over TLS.

However, currently the Accelerator, and the v1 Cache Server before it, do not support auth at all for Asset Pipeline caching -- so they must be firewalled off as the only security measure, today. This is highly likely to improve in the future, but I can't really share any detail beyond that right now.
