How do you tell whether your assets need updating

The new asset manage in the Package manager no longet informs you what version of an asset you havew and therefore dont know whether or not theres an update for it.

Or am I missing something.

I have jundreds of assets and to have to go through each in the project to try and discover whtehr an asset wants updating or not is a.... well mess up lets say.

Any ideas how I can tell?
